Yosemite was the most crowded of the three parks, and for good reason. The place is spectacular, some of the most amazing scenery on the planet. A great setting for a marriage proposal… and we actually witnessed one. It was the only proposal I’ve ever witnessed, aside from my own.
We were walking through grassy field pictured below, had the trail pretty much to ourselves except for a couple and their friend ahead of us. Suddenly the friend stopped, turned around and started taking pictures. I had no idea what was going on until this lady dropped to a knee. Very sweet, very romantic… I’d have said yes, too!
